First Runway Show

Since today is a semi-gloomy day I thought I would share my experience from two years ago in Hoboken, New Jersey. Honestly I was asked to participate in a rather extraordinary experience from a group called MirroredWonderland. These two women were the sweetest people I have ever had the pleasure of working with. They asked me if I would participate in a RAW Art show at the club Reign with other performers, artists, and designers. The pure thought of all of it made me jump with joy! A art runway show? Me? Of course!
The day of the show I couldn't keep my excitement in any longer and arrived into Hoboken a few hours early to walk around and enjoy the sites before a very long day ahead. Hoboken is a beautiful city to walk around in during the day, although I didn't get the pleasure to walk around at night.
The show was everything I could ever have imagined and so much more. The nightclub was filled with all types of people from local artists, designers, makeup artists, performers, singers and small group bands. Some of the dresses from another runway show were so stunning I could have pictured them in European Magazine. Everything around me was new, shiny and so intriguing to me. It had me mesmerized.
Getting up there for our performance felt like 80 mins of pure hell. Not only was I nervous that I would fall or hit someone with my giant hair but for someone who is flat foot being in heels for that long takes a took on my legs. But I sucked it up because who wouldn't want to say that they got to participate in something so amazing?! I almost fell a bunch of times but had to keep my straight bitch face most of the time, which all us women know that isn't hard! All I really wanted to do was walk away from my posts and go explore the event more!
Over the past few years modeling there has been nothing to compare to this experience I felt like a real supermodel for a day! Hopefully within the future I will be offered another incredible experience such as this to add to my modeling career belt!
